Super Fox Three Piece Crank

They were black with a silver spider. Anybody know what make they were? Can't have been that great as whole bike wasn't that expensive. Would like to find a set in decent nick .

Yes mine had a 1pc crank BITD

Had a set bitd bought them of my mate . Can remember him getting the bike and the adds and it defo came with a 3 piece as shown in the BMX Action Bike test.

They look like a generic alloy 3 piece, probably a sugino copy given that they generally used taiwanese copy stuff on them, but who knows as the review does not make a mention of the cranks

If the crank is black and the spider is a built in one piece thing with a silver chainring, then I may be able to help you.

I have a pair of NOS black Sugino GT crank arms, same as these but obviously black with white lettering.



I also have a sealed used Sugino bb to complement them.



LMK if any use.

But the things you may be after could be these - can't remeber what they are called but this is the only set I have seen, on a pic I saved from a special team edition predator similar to mine above.

They came with a one piece crank, not a 3 piece.

I have a brochure and it says all models fitted with opc.

Defo came with three piece as in the ad in link. If it helps the spider on it fitted the outer holes on a tuf neck chain ring and not the inner ones.

got a 1 peice silverfox crank in front of me atm :)just says taiwan in middle and csh on the other side in middle

I seem to be confused (not difficult mind) the ad in the link aboce shows only 1 piece cranks, the review shows a bike with three piece cranks but makes no mention in the spec.  Is it this ad you are referring to which only shows 1 piece cranks or have I missed something?

I knew a guy BITD who had a superfox, and I distinctly remember his having a 1pc crank because it snapped when he landed after a jump and he ended up buying my old 1pc from me 
Maybe a few earlier ones came with a 3pc?

on the trial of these didnt the rider just have a 3 peice fitted for it? the 1 peices are forged and not crom as mines got  H.T stamped into a leg

Test bikes often had the odd thing changed to suit the test rider, longer crank arms, bigger bars etc...

The bike came with a opc, maybe the shop fitted a 3 piece for some reason.....maybe he even paud extra for it?

Took me an hour and a half but found this pic. Its the same crank arms but the spider on the one I had was silver and spoked and fitted to the outside holes on a tuf neck chainring. Was similar to a takaigi one.

^^ that looks a bit like a set of THUN cranks I have which are red.

Did they do a Thun crank with a spokes spider? could get one of them and get it reannodised.

The aero stamped into it rang a far distant bell in me head  No seriously they are the right crank arms but spider is wrong , so think I am looking for one of these with a silver spoked spider so if anybody finds one giz a shout please.
