i'm not 100% sure about this or not, so maybe some more experienced ebayers could confirm (i would go and try to look it up, but can't be arsed at the moment).
but if you open a dispute with the seller and it's not resolved, doesn't he lose the right to leave you feedback?

Prick has left me neg, that is now my 100% gone. The prat has stated that he wouldn't sell because of the principle of a reserve (if he had put one on I couldn't have won the auction).

i ignore neg feedback on people when it has been done like this
most intelligent people do

and i wouldn't give someone neg feedback, just because they gave me it.
in his case, he was wrong.

does ebay have a minimum age limit?
it should have a minimum IQ too, so simple folk can't be put in a position of any responsibility that they are not intellectually able to cope with.

You can request ebay to remove feedback, but they will only do so if you agree to have your feedback for them removed. I had a similar situation where I left a neg for someone and they then left a neg for me and using swear words - swearing in feedback is against ebay rules so logically, I thought I'd be able to get his removed without having to remove mine since my feedback for him didn't contain profanities..............

I've decided that this seller is a right cnut - he's given both of the ebayer's that neg'd him, negative feedback in retaliation citing the 'principle of reserve price' snd ruining two ebayer's 100% feedbacks.

Firstly the priciple of reserve price is to set it before (or during if it is changed) the auction.

Secondly, if he had principles he would know that he was in the wrong and not neg the buyers.

I'll be watching out for his future auctions..................

'The reserve price is what you put in at the beginning of an auction, not during, and certainly not at the end. The Ebay system will not allow you to change this, and if you want to do so you should pull the auction and relist with a clear reserve price.

It looks like you've cheesed some people off but negging them back after they've won your no reserve auction wins you no friends and discourages prospective bidders.'
