Polishing !
« on: January 20, 2008, 06:55 PM »
Ok for my next build I need some high polished parts !

I have a few bits already but struggling for a brake, I do have a NOS Dia Compe MX1000 in silver, will it polish up !

I do have a NOS 901 in chrome but it doesn't look right  :-\

Did the MX 1000 come in chrome or just silver - what is best polish it or get it chromed  ???

nick they will polish up like chrome, you would struggle to get it plated as it has some steel parts on it,if you get stuck post them to me and i will do them for you :daumenhoch:

it wont be the polishing thats leaving the scratch's - you need to sand the scratch's out 1st - i use 1000 - 1500 - 2000 grit wet n dry then polish and buff - jobs a good en. :daumenhoch:
