great pics Nikki.

The track looks as muddy as Braintree was.

So Ratty, are you going to be racing new school now that you have had a taste?

:LolLolLolLol:  I dont think he actually knows what carbon fibre is he just compares how heavy his bike is with other littlens ... He keeps trying to lift the front of his bike up when he goes over the jumps and thinks he cant fly like Danny White etc because his bike is too heavy  :LolLolLolLol:

He was doing a good job of flying down the first straight in his final.     I had my bloody heart in my mouth.

It's all good tho he got the win and thats all he wanted.

Chloe' did really well seeing as she had to ride formula 4 @ 7 yrs old ( some of the riders were 12.)  She may have finished last but she didnt stop peddaling until she crossed the line..

Im proud of both of them.  :4_17_5: :4_17_5:

Hey Ratty, glad you like the bike.  You look pretty close to Darren Flint in that pic above, which is no mean feat, cos he is one of the most improved 30+ riders out there over the last few seasons since I started racing again.  Great to see you showing that the top OS guys can hang with the new school guys  :daumenhoch:

Would've loved to have raced there myself yesterday (probably Formula 2 cos now way could I hang in Formula 1), but feeling under the weather.  Should be back for Dagenham next Sunday though.

cool pics ratty, muddy old fun, nice....

Can someone please explain to me why they tarmac berms now?

I think it's a maintenance thing, Clive.  Once they tarmac the berms, they can be left alone.  I suppose it's a small price to pay considering how few tracks there are in the UK and how few people there are who volunteer to maintain them.

I know what you mean though - BMX racing is about Bicycles and Dirt.

Those picures are good Niki, I'm just glad you only got ones of me riding, not chucking my ring up at the end of the 2nd and 3rd motos.

One thing I noticed about going from thick mud to tar-mac was how much mud came off of peoples tires as we entered the berms. That semi where I had to come from the back I got a propper face full. Still serves me right for not being out front.

Didn't Stu look lovley in his new Monster Energy race kit too. :-*
