how rare are the woody itson signiture bars?

posted them on bmx museum and had quite a few folks wanting them :)not selling them as like the shape/look of them just wondered if they are rare.

they not that rare as always pop up at times on ebay ,that are lovely bars that why people want them . i have 4 sets as love them to bits

3 sets are nos ,1 set are chrome were nos then chromed and i say chrome them as look best that colour . i need one more set so if anyone want to swap for a set of hutch ladderbars in chrome let us know

WTF! I was just texting Tim Ruck about Itson bars and this thread pops up! WEIRD!

A set were up for sale on here a few months ago. Not for silly money, about right I guess, but they went within a few minutes .... followed by a load of posts from people who were mad that they missed them.

Iv got a Hutch pair & yes they are nice, they do come up for sale from time to time, but usually go for good money

Got a pair of VDC ones here in white. Does anyone know if the tubing is the same thickness on the Hutch version as on the VDC ones, because the tubing seems very thick and strong on the VDC version, i just wondered if the hutch version was built to the same standards.I had a chrome set of the VDC BITD, and they were very well made and didnt bend easily.

I think the VDC version came out in '83, believe they were the first 0.65 grade bar made.

The Hutch version (with the lower crossbar) was out in 84/85
