NIGHTMARE, help needed

right took my araya areos into the bike shop to be made up.
20x1.75 ararya areos
suntour smalll flange hubs.
194 spokes

4 cross pateren.

hes just rang me to tell me there is not enouth tension in the wheels,

whats the correct lentgh spokes, thought it was 194 for 4 cross.

please help a  :idiot2: out as i need the wheels back to finish of my first 2008 build. :daumenhoch:

Spokes seem a bit long for me  :-\ , High Flange 4 cross are 195mm  ;)

on normal araya 7x rims onto small flange hubs, its 194, but after my  :idiot2: phone call dont take that as correct.


or what size spokes for 3 cross :daumenhoch:

no dont think he cuts the spokes, just take him the bits and hes does the wheels,

Aeros are a deeper dish wheel though so I'd have thought they'd need shorter than those for a 7X

if you get spokes from alans you tell them what hub/rim you have and weather 3 or 4 cross and they supply the correct length spokes :daumenhoch:

nail on the head Longun.

Check with some of the folk at the burner forum, as (to me at least) they seem to be the most proliferent users of the aero rims for the aero pro burners.

the dude inj my brothers shop just laced some aeros for me, using 194's onto suzue small flange hubs, and they are perfect...no problems at all...

the rims were 1.5's though, but i dont think that would make any difference.

an update,
just spoke to a mate and he reckons 184 for areos with suntour hubs.
give me some skyways :knuppel2:
these better look the nuts when finished,  :smitten:
