FOOKING AWESOME DUDE.....I think we forget how rad Mike Canning was and a cool pic of my mate Jason Ellis doing a wicked invert on his pink performer, was that at Alfreton?

Only problem for me though is the pics won't loads past the lad doing a decade with the pink vans on  >:(

Anyone else having problems.

awesome pics as i said on myspace. you'll find you get a better response on radbmx for the old stuff than on myspace. glad you put em up.

with regards to problems- my pc's virtual memory ran low and warned me as the photo's were uploading. just make sure your memory isn't too low and a bit of patience and they will load up.

Steve's a member on here, I think he's viewing this right now so I'm sure he'll reply.

I've tried all sorts to view the rest of the pics but still can't see them, cleared my cache, temp internet files, all sorts that I could think of but it's still not having it.  :2gunsfiring_v1:

Ell sure was an awesome rider, very under rated in my opinion but then again I ride with him a lot so probably saw more than most what he was capable of.  :daumenhoch:

Great stuff mate - a LOT of familiar faces there.
The pics from the balcony at The Sands Centre (Bmx Beat or '87 worlds?) are just brilliant - totally unique shots. Thanks for posting them.
Weirdest pic is the guy doin' an air on what looks at first to be my Yellow Master - closer look and it isn't but it gave me a weird moment!
I found ALL my old photos today, so I should be able to return the favour soon!
Prepare for Load Warning!

Macky!!   what a feast.  love the pics. fantastic.  some great old ramps. some of them look like they are 2 feet of vert.    We all know how much hassle and time it takes to post pics, but believe me, it very much appreciated.   Its great that the riders featured get their skills acknowledged all over again .
Some good height as well. Sometimes i forget how high some riders could air back in the 80's.

thanks   :4_17_5:

What a collection of radness ;) don't know any of the riders, I'm guessing this is 88ish ???

so many top pixs, loving the bar stand with any extra dollap of coolness ;)

Great pics, Seems like yesterday when you see all those pics at once.
Your time and effort will certainly be appreciated on RAD.
I especially like the Simon Tabron pics (talk about progression), I'm guessing your from Liverpool? What happened to Tony Puddifer.

Thanks again.

What happened to Tony Puddifer.

He has travelled the length and breadth of this country in his quest to find fame in BMX....

That was a quote (or close enough) by Andy Ruffell on BMX Beat regarding Tony Puddifer...

I thought that was Jason Ellis on the pink Performer to start with, same bike, style etc, but then I realised Ell went left to right  ::)
