Have read a few threads about this seat dying lark. Seems pretty straight forward, 2 tins of dye, big bag of salt, big pan and boiling water. Simmer for about an hour and hey presto nice shiney seat.

What about the logo's . Got to dye a purple Skyway hot seat black and don't want to loose the logo's. How come they do not change colour with the rest of the seat.

Can you do anything with the logos to make them better in appearance should they be faded to start with.

not much can be done about preserving or enhancing dulled silver or gold prints, but what you could do is have a word with CBRGIL who is a master of certain decals and stickers etc (he has re-done the Kashi aero's), the burner forum version of our very own Del - he's a top bloke too :daumenhoch:
