Sir Galley and his TA
« on: January 21, 2008, 01:08 PM »
I've just read in chat about a thing called a Skyway TA300, which I've never heard of before.  But I do recall Jerry riding a TA with an AD on it in the early/mid 90s.  Did he just stick lugs on a regular TA, or did he have one of these 300 badboys?

Yeah, I seem to recall that's what he did - it inspired my mate to do the same.  But I'd never heard of these 300 things...

He had bolt on 990s. He took them with him from frame to frame. one week it was a TA, the next it was a firebird freestyles. For a while the brake was jubilee cliped on ... till he cut his leg really badly on it!

And that's why we all love him   :4_17_5:

Funny that all the time I've been on both RAD forums and I'd never, ever heard of a factory TA with AD lugs on it.  Although it makes some sense as Bob A says, they were shit....
