some rad pics there from rom,etc. respect to all riding and getting air outta the perf bowl and white bowl. well vert that is. i remember riding it a few times late 90's but only carving it. zak shaw got massive air outta it, can't remember if its on rom vid 'one way ticket'. i will upload it very soon- next week hopefully.

Well what a year.

It all started so well, with myself finding my way back "home", then building my new ride.
Some top notch sessions, mainly at Charlton-but also Rom, Corby, Epic/Creation twice, Legacy and Skaterham for monday Vert sessions.

And i will also ad, that through riding again i have made some of the best friends i have ever had......you know who you all are! 

And then it all went horribly wrong on the night of the 7th Dec........but i will be back.....and it cant come soon enuff!

TBH I was thinking my time was done, dunno, new year blues whatever it may have been... This thread has just made me realise why BMX, this place & the good friends I have here is still very important to me..

i thought that at 21 ( took up freestyle in 1984 aged 13). always had family against me riding but i guess they know by now i'm in it for the long haul.  24 years in the saddle this year ( thank god they are padded now .lol.) always rode, filmed , made videos, wrote for ride, took up photography. all of this are additional hobbies that crossover with riding and as i've got older i get just as stoked getting a great photo / or someone pulling something amazing on videocamera that it's the same buzz as if i pulled it myself. i don't feel i have to kill myself no more to be involved in this sport/lifestyle. my body has taken a battering over the years , knee that pops out , weak ankles, fractured spine, broken ribs , ligaments and various other injuries. each time i say no more but its a lifestyle i can't leave. my girlfriend gets annoyed sometimes that i'd rather go out on the bike than spend time with her but i figure she has me in the winter and so i can go out riding during the summer. lol. i'll admit i've only been a member of radbmx.co.uk since sept '07 but its such a friendly community with people who are passionate about bmx in wotever shape or form that it's like HOME.

some great pics there dan. tricks are only gonna get crazier so the photo's will prob get radder too. with all the mutiple whips going on i think they may to introduce a new camera speed specially for it. surely it'll never get to 5 whips??  lol.
