Common

It's the best damm frame under £300 you will ever ride. As a mater of fact its up there with frames worth 3 times as much. :Great_Britain:

I emailed Mike a couple of days ago, and he confirmed that he is bringing out a full on race version of the MX20 (MX20R).  It will be up there with S&M etc, can't wait to see it (& buy one).

Yeah, I better not make any more and keep the initial 100 that are out there limited edition so the people who own them can sell for more than they paid in 10 years time  ;)

Next version will indeed be more race oriented, smaller OD and thinner wall tubes (but it's Reynolds 853 air hardened cro-mo, so just as strong as, if not stronger than, the original - though it will dent easier cos of the thinner walls), lighter, no gussets and sleeker looking.  Shaun "The Mangler" Andrews, Dan Whyte, Tre Whyte and 3 top Danish riders tested the prototypes all last season so they're ready to roll.  Should be available in the following sizes:  Expert (19" TT), Expert XL (19.75"), Pro (20.5"), Pro XL (21.25"), Pro XXL (22") and possibly a cruiser version too (21.5").  Drawings are all done, just gotta find the dosh to get them made!

Thats fantastic news Mike :4_17_5:

How about taking some pre orders? If you can sell a few dozen before hand that will help the cash flow!!!
Have you got a rough price guide yet? Put me down for a pro and a pro XL please mate

I should be able to get a price on the BMX frames once I pay for my next batch of mountain bike frames later this month.  Ball park figure is likely to be £260-£270 for frame and forks.

Pre-orders is something I do for the MTBs sometimes.  For example, the new Alpine MTB frame will retail for £360, but people who pre-order and pay a deposit get it for £300.

Joe, there's a link to The Mangler's prototype here at the BMX Museum:  http://www.bmxmuseum.com/bikes/dialled_bikes/4003

I've got some pics of the Expert XL somewhere too after Dan re-sprayed it.

I don't really have any close ups though as I'm normally too excited once I get new prototypes, so I get them out to the riders ASAP so they can start thrash testing them.

Dan Whyte rode the same frame as Shaun this season and it was amazing seeing him go from good rider to future Pro (I'm not saying it was down to the frame, cos Dan's a great rider regardless of what he rides - it was just such a buzz for me seeing someone like Dan rise and rise on one of my frames!).

Your to modest Mike it's the frames alright, coz even an over weight unfit lardy like me goes much faster on my mx20 than I do on my Huffy or GT Pro. :LolLolLolLol:

No offence Dan you are a good rider ;)
