ACS Z Mags advice
« on: January 04, 2008, 10:44 PM »
I know Tuffs are muchloved, but Ive always liked the look of the ACS Z Mags - are they considered a worthy addition to an old school bike? Any info or thoughts appreciated before I buy some!! Ive found some z mags in black much much cheaper than tuffs go for !

I had some on a mongoose cali and they were ok but seemed very brittle (too plastic'y if you get me drift) They are still made today too , to the best of my knowledge anyway. If i remember rightly they were also heavier that tuffs but spun forever and looked very nice.
Sorry i can't be more helpfull mate  :-\

I was told that spokes needed to be adjust almost every ride and the "brake" issue.. is like the tuff2.
but they are very nice for look in a "poser" bike.
(don t get me wrong.. I would like to have one pair myself)  :smitten:

I think the adjustment is only on the ACS Z Rims rather than the Mags  :daumenhoch:
