DREAM SKATEPARK!
« on: January 03, 2008, 07:54 PM »
You're a BMX nut like most of us but you have the funds of Roman Abramovich, you've bought a massive house with a huge plot of land and you want to replicate some of the best bits of the worlds greatest skateparks past and present for you and all your mates to ride in....what would you choose??

Here's mine for starters....

Performance Bowl from Rom
Keyhole Bowl from Southsea
Blue Bowl from Gillingham
Main Bowl at Livi
Pipe and main Bowl from Pipeline

I could go on but what yours?

Doesn't have to be all concrete like I've gone for, anything you want.

i'd build a street course just like the x games. big vert ramp. of course all i'd be doing would be rolling around on it, but you'd all be welcome to pop round.  :daumenhoch:

Honestly, all I'd want in concrete would be Roms Moguls.  An exact copy of.  aside from that, furnish me with a fooooooooking great big pile of wood and I'll build me own ta very much!    ;)

I'd just get Rolling Thunder rebuilt but with some of the posts absent and a more even surface but still under cover ....

I'd ask you lot, then build it, then invite you all to a massive barbie and beerfest to show me how to use it  :daumenhoch:

Hey Marty

Who do you think that skater is? It never said on the website but I pretty much bet my life its Mike Mcgill pre Powel on G&S. The style and the flyaway helmet are good clues.

Too much hair for McGill, might be Guererro (or however you spell it LOL!)
