« on: January 09, 2008, 09:10 PM »
Looking for the height of the protruding seatpost tube through the top tube. Or top of top tube to top of seatpost tube. Am I making sense to anybody  :LolLolLolLol: Also I take it the bolt was a 1 inch x 5/16 UNC from the look of pics I found. Yep I'm bodging again  ::) Your help would be much appreciated as usual.  :daumenhoch:

Re: JMC Shadow Info Needed HELP!!! Bolt Size Next !
« Reply #3 on: January 14, 2008, 08:15 PM »
Think from the pics I have seen that the bolt may be larger than I thought may even be metric? Come on chaps can somebody find out what the bolt is, as have a resto on the go. Also could somebody measure the diameter of the bosses that the bolt fits into for me? I know I'm being a pain but I have no other access to the info as I've never had me hands on one in the flesh. Need also the measure checking that my kind friend has given at 53mm as the pics make it look longer than that. Also need the distance from the top of the seatpost tube to the centre of the clamp bolt.

Cheer Steve

Steve, double checked, tis 54mm.External dia of clamp boss 12.7mm,length of each boss 10mm,the taper starting at 5mm along its length. If i've understood you correctly, centre line of clamp bolt to top of back of seat tube 12.77mm.I'll keep at it for the bolt info.
