Off topic slightly but I saw a VW Camper the other day with a 53 reg plate on it. Is that right? It looked mint but in an old style. Is there a company that makes retro or kit car versions?

you can buy the new bay window campers and look like the old one but price is high

i think the bay window ones are made in india and can be imported. i dont suppose you can remember if it was left or right hand drive.?

ou can still buy brand new campers/buses/panel vans brand new made in brazil. they come with modern water cooled engines and are lhd.

you can also still buy a brand new mk1 golf from the same place, but 4dr only.
