s&m ng holmes cobbler
« on: December 21, 2007, 05:06 PM »
i've cobbled this together from bits left over from another build,
i'd changed my mind about re-building the ng frame and tried to sell it on a few times,
no one wanted the old beast :-[
its sat in my workshop looking very humiliated in its scratched up paint since then so as i've nearly finished the other build i'd give it a twirl

i had one of these back in 99/00 and its fine apart from the humungously long back end!

dunno what to do so i need help.
should i paint it or rat it out?
any idea's for colours? would powder blue be wrong for it?

I like it the way it is. That green stem rules!

maybe you could mix up something with a sugar paste thickish and salt then paint it on with a thin paint brush
and get arty,it might take a while to get the rust showing but trial and error.
clear coat should be fine as its just like a varnish.
