I have one, a 98 I think, 1/18th -   Just wondering what make canti brakes people run around that era. cheers.

I've got some T1000's for it... yo.

Get some pics up buddy!

I bet its just like my one, but I cut the canti mounts off and put a U brake on the chainstays.
Its also the same as DSDs Yellow one.

Odyssey A-brakes were around in 98 and they're cheap on the Bay too.

....but 990s always look better.

I might have some old, mid 90s DX or XTRs. I have got a few sets of cantis that I used to use on the front. I have been meaning to dig a set out for Rory for months. If I have a set after he is sorted out I will think of you Steve  :daumenhoch:

Sounds good guys, cheers for info.  I've got the dirt monsters on T1000s, a 90's GT plastic seat... just need the front end...  chrome slams a must.

YOYO Bennetts challenger was set up real nice...  Chrome bars / forks, red redneck and red sprocket (S-shape pattern, any ideas?)  and the pad set...

Mine shall look similar!

The red Shimano DX v-brakes and levers were very popular in the late 90s/early 2000s, on race bikes.
