Budget Aero build (with pics)
« on: December 20, 2007, 01:02 PM »
Heres my budget Aero build.  This is the first time ive touched a BMX in 10 years or so.

NOS 1984 chrome Areo Reflex Frame and Forks were £35 from Alans.

NOS chrome CW style bars, white NOS seat, Chrome layback stem and white GT clamp added - all in £23

Next a pair of NOS red rimmed wheels, with white tyres - £20 the pair

So thats as it stands now.  Got a set of red Dia Compe brakes, old school red/white stars grips, and red/chrome crank/chainwheel/chain coming.  Every single piece is brand new.

Comments welcomed...

Nothing wrong with that so far, I really like it.   I like budget builds it takes so much work to keep the costs down.

Reflex frames are so cool, if they were US made they would be really collectable.

Cheers guys, appreciate the comments.

I might pick up another Aero frame and keep it in the box.  Pretty soon the supply must run out...

What I do want is a red/white number plate if any one has one?
