It looks like the correct style of serial number.  It will be located behind the bottom bracket on the flat tubing (can't think what else to call it), not on the bottom bracket itself.

Yeah, 3 holes in the brake bridge. You can just see the holes in this picture.

This is where the serial number lives, under the bit connecting the rear triangle and the bottom bracket.

It could be a supergoose3 as well if it's on the box section, both frames are almost identicle, apart from weight. and if you look at the head tube it's thin walled on the proclass, the rear drop outs are thin on the proclass about 2mm thick the best place to tell is the bottom bracket, with the crank and bottom bracket removed look inside the bottom bracket tube if it has a machined recess it's a proclass but if it is the same internal diameter all the way through its a supergoose  :daumenhoch:

hope that makes sense. take some pics of the areas mentioned and post them on here.

You can't really tell from that pic. probs a supergoose,as most, but not all proclass's where black chrome. :daumenhoch: saying that it does look a bit goldy so could be?

But i'm gonna go for a supergoose :daumenhoch:

I've had that on my watch list for the longest time!!!   >:D

I'm so glad someone bought it already...I will say hands down that it is a Supergoose.  BUT there is always a chance it could be a Pro Class.

I was tempted to grab it...the only thing that stopped me was the condition.  I had spoken with the seller when he had 1st listed it...had to be over 2 months ago at least.  It's been on the bay for the longest.

I'd love to see some close-ups of the drop outs and the BB once you get the cups off.

Good luck...you know you have a Super so far.

i try to get the guy to send some new photos first, but no go, he said he didnt have time :idiot2:
someone has to rescue the poor thing :'(. the dropouts don't look too bad from what you can make out but that photo is poor .  if it turns out to be a pro class I'm willing to do a bit of  Restoration on them,
and it does look a bit brown gold bet that could just be sh*t ;D

i should start up a betting run 5/4 on supa-- 10000000000000000/1 on pro

il keep you inf  :daumenhoch:

I did the same

saw chunky tubed looptail badged as supergoose
not knowing at that time they looked the same
even though the decals looked old i figured it was mis-decaled some how

so i carried on hoping i had pulled a killer deal,
once i had hold of it, the weight of F&F gave me the answer   :(

oh well  :LolLolLolLol:

took me a lot of pouring over bike reviews to finally accept it
still a cracking bike just a couple of pounds heavier
cheers Kev
