I've found it very hard to find somewhere these days due to the H&S issues with the chemicals and the process combined with the finished results which can be patchy.  My local guys won't touch alloy with a barge pole but I do know that Billy Stupple has had some parts done in the past (Hutch Headlock) so maybe you can find somewhere - do let us all know if you do  :daumenhoch:.

Just get them to machine polish them to a mirror finish if they won't chrome them, they'd need to polish them anyway to this finish before they're plated. The place I use charges £30p/h for polishing as an example, that's the dear part of the process.

I found a place that does it in the Midlands, but to chrome some pro class rims they quoted me £70 a rim  :idiot2: and couldn't guarentee that the finish would be spot on .. so i opted to have them polished instead and it cost me £30 for both rims .

i have some chrome arayas also, and when there side by side with the polished pro class rims your hard pushed to tell the difference .

unfortuantly i cant get out to get any oven pride at the minute but if you have a wilkos near you they will sell it cheap :daumenhoch: then if you want to send me the oven cleaner with the rims id be happy to strip them or you could do it, its up to you.
