Hi

The north region are happy to run a separate race class for old skool this Sunday if you can guarantee a full gate.

They have also asked me to make you aware that it will be classed as an extra race and will therefore not form part of the north region winter racing series.

Hi Russ,

The regional winter series does not include an old school class.

At Lytham the club asked to run an old skool race, which is fine we will manage the race on behalf of the club while the club provides any prizes etc. The class is not part of the winter series so will not be a qualifier for trophies.

Preston made no such request of us, and only 3 riders asked for the class.

Mid Lancs have asked for a separate race, so there will be an old school class. Again this race will not be part of the winter series and will not be a qualifier for a series trophy.

If we regularly see a gate of ‘old school’ riders we will look at defining the class and then including for the summer series in 2008.
