If it`s a sealed bearing type of headset I`d change it for a beartrap 2 or something similar, the sealed type tend to just fall apart if you ride  :(

you should be left with 3 full threads,however headsets are not made to last long(bearing wise) bitd i changed mine every 10 races,lol that shouldnt matter if its a show bike! hope this helps ;)

Me backs not getting any better as yet (arthritis is a fooker) but then again its not getting any worse  :)
Its 12 months ago since i had the op to take a disc out and have the bones ground down but it don't seem to have worked  :knuppel2:
