My mate just sent me these pics of the new Dreamland Park in Saffron Walden. Has anyone been there?

It looks a great park, lets bikes too. Not sure about some of the rules tho!

aint it called this???

Yes! Dreamland are the poeple that built it

"After years of planning, fundraising and frustration, Dreamland, the best skatepark builders in the world are coming to Saffron Walden to build our very own skatepark. From Oregon in the USA, Dreamland have built numerous parks in the US but only two others in Europe – in Bologna, Italy and Rattenberg, Austria. The Saffron Walden Skate Group have raised £280,000 to build this state of the art skate park. The money has come from BIFFAWARD, The Essex Environment Trust, The Home Office, Essex County Council, Uttlesford District Council and Saffron Walden Town Council and also from many local businesses, groups and individuals. The Skate Group is made up of adults and young people from within the community and was formed to take forward the idea to build a safe but challenging skatepark to replace the wooden ramps, which were originally on the site behind the Lord Butler Leisure Centre where the new park is to be built. Local skaters Stuart Crook and Andrew Minet were at the forefront of this campaign. Tragically Andrew died - the Park is to be named ‘One Minet Park’ in his memory."

It looks like the "no Pegs" thing is on the bowls with pool coping, and pegs are fine on the metal coping bowls.

Sonds fair to me. Way better than just saying "no bikes"

That does look NICE!

Bit far from me though.....160 miles in fact and about 31/2 to 4 hours, I may as well go to Rom.  ::)

Still looks cool though!
