You're all welcome! Thought you might like these! I've got some more somewhere, but I'll need to get them onto photobucket first. Watch this space! G

great pics of one of freestyles mecca's. appreciate all the time spent on photobucket uploads, i've got loads on mine and thousands more to do (negatives of pics that don't exist anymore also need to get special scanner for that) and not even gonna start on all the videos i had to copy from vhs/camcorder tape to digital- then upload to wmv file then upload to youtube.(username dennydyer for those interested). total appreciation for the time spent uploading gary.

excellent shots Gary. its great when someone new comes along with loads of photos and memories from the past and is good enough to spend the effort and time to share them with everyone on the site.   its very much appreciated. :daumenhoch:

i guess the enchanted ramp was at Ron's house near Santa Cruz?.  The annoying thing is i now live about 20 miles from Ron, and he has never once invited me to come around to his house and ride.  :LolLolLolLol:

I used to take a camera with me to a lot of the comps I went to so there should be more pics around somewhere.
I took a lot of slide film too, but god knows how I'll get that stuff on here. It's all back at my folks house.
These ones look really fresh for almost 20 years old - kept in an album for most of the time.

Ron's house was in Leucadia which was about 40 miles (?) north of San Diego, not far from Carlsbad. I was there for two months at the end of '88. Stayed in an apartment complex between his house and the coast and was eventually joined there by Andy and Mike. It became known as the British Embassy especially when Karl Denton joined us for a while. The Embassy was even mentioned in one of the mags at the time - must have been Invert I think. I did a write up and took pics at the Velodrome comp that year. If I find the pages, I'll scan them in.

Well done! Although if you'd seen my thread on the "Welcome" forum, you would have got it quicker....!
Now if I can just work out who YOU lot all are.....
BTW, I hadn't realised someone riding since '83 was considered "Mid School"! I suddenly feel a lot younger now!

Oh yeah - here's your prize. A topless picture of Andy Brown.....
