Want to save some cash and do it myself, but how? Has anyone successfully removed chrome themselves? I heard that you can submerge in coca-cola and it'll start removing it but I think that is bollox...
let me know....

If you wanna save money use a own brand cola like Lidl cola

never heard of that b4 might make it sticky lol
sand blast is the only other way
unless you wanna sand it down
i was charged £15 to have a frame dechromed

best way is to take it to an electroplater and get him to reverse the process
