MY ULTIMATE SKYWAY!
« on: November 30, 2007, 09:24 PM »
This is BMX for me, as it was the bike i had as a kid. Exactly the same apart from the tyres. I did have Blue early Tioga logo comp 3's but i am sure someway along the line i had blue grippas! :LolLolLolLol:

THIS BIKE LOOKS A MILLION TIMES BETTER IN THE DAYLIGHT!

The frame and forks was NOS from a little shop in the States! Touch.
White alloyed hubbed tuffs with blue mitshob tyres.
DC MX1000 in blue with blue DC tech 3's and cables
Skyway EZ bars Mark 1
Blue Suntour stem
Skyway platform
Chrome seat post with blue Kashi Aero and a blue MX hinged seat clamp.
Sugino 1pc with Shimano Dx's and blue tuff neck chainwheel, Izumi chain

Hope you like.

Sorry ( I'm sure I'll get a backlash ! ) but ally hubs Tuffs look spot on  :daumenhoch: . I'm fookin' sick to death of 2007 Tuffs on things , no imagination ! .

My Opinion , they all differ ...

Looks good.I had one of those platforms years ago-wonder what happened to it.And I had those bars on my Haro. They cracked on one end of the cross bar and my dad had to weld them! I dont remember them being that big.Strange.I like white.

Lovely Nick - great combo with the blue tyres (but I'd loose the platform with the knobbly tyres)

Very very nice though mate!

That's gorgeous, Nick.

It's almost exactly like my T/A was back in the day too. Same colour scheme and everything.  :daumenhoch:

Cheers everyone. Always nice to get positive feedback.  :daumenhoch:

This bike means everything to me. Rombloke is spot on. It was 84 that i got mine! I was a 9 year old spoilt kid i guess! My brother borrowed the bike in 1997 and left it at a mates, never to be seen again! Terrible.

Anyway, its back now and if i sold them all i would keep this one.  :smitten:

The tuffs IMO look so much better when alloyed hubs. They are a must on my builds. I have 3 sets in white and i enjoy the renovation work on them. Steve P was a great help with his advice at getting them spot on.   ;)

All the parts on this bike were pretty hard to get hold of and EXPENSIVE! Stupid prices but i got there in the end at it was worth it! I am when its a nice day gonna update the pics on all my bikes. I hate the shots that i take under that light!

Cheers all, Nick
