As ar as I remember, they were horrible and the geometry was bonkers. The ones i remember had super high bb's so side on it almost looked like the downtube and chainstays lined up! I'm sure Steve Gratton raced for them around this time, anyone remember that?

Yeah Steve Gratton raced for Iron Horse (around the same time as the drilled out Race Inc project they did in Action Bike with Steve as the test rider).  I suspect he was riding a de-stickered decent frame as I was at a race in Bessacar/Doncaster that Steve Gratton was at and remember seeing his bike (all black) and it looked alright.

If any one has a pic of Grattons 'Iron Horse' please post them up. I remember seeing him race a national, and he looked very mean, every thing was black... like the black Stig, for some reason I think it was a track in the Hull area, any ideas?

I saw steve gratton a few times at the old chorley track and he definitely rode an iron horse with the weird geometry it was black with gold bits and 3 pc alloy cranks and im almost sure it had a euro bb (hows that for memory) Im almost sure that his bike was tested in bmx weekly, boy I wish I hadnt thrown all those papers out. ;D
