can anyone give me a rough idea of what it may cost me to ship a frame from the states, need a rough idea before i buy a frame off the bay. don't want to get stiffed!

Last one I had cost me $50 (about £25) - that was for a frame and forks

but did you have to pay for the arsewiping custom or you got away with it

Nope, no custom charges

You do not pay custom charges based on shipping costs, only the value of the item.

I recently had a frame and forks shipped, it was around $55 and the value $250.00.

All I got charged was VAT and a Parcel Force handing fee. (£34.16)
