potts mod ??
« on: November 25, 2007, 09:52 PM »
please forgive my unforgivable stupidity, but can someone please show me a photo of how a front brake will look when it has been fitted through a hollow stem, am i right in assuming the normal cable fixings need to be reversed ie the cable runs up into the brake instead of down???
if so do i need a special type of brake set  :daumenhoch:

once again i apologise for my distinct lack of freestyle knowledge  :-[

What kind of brake are you using? If it's a MX or 880, then you are correct. All you should need is to have the barrel adjuster on the bottom and bolt on the top.

If is the white Nipons, then they will be fine. The front one (on the left) is pots mod ready.
The adjuster at the top has a built in pinch bolt which is very nice.  :daumenhoch:
