2. skyway recreation

3. ACS Z rims

That's one of my Favorites as well Jay. I also liked the Brian Blyther one on the red FST in the bowl and the Redline Prostyler one that had a red or black background to it. I think that bike had OGK's on it though. Couldn't find any pictures unfortunately.

Ditto me with a large flange ACS hub on Z's  :LolLolLolLol:

Early on one of my memorable ads was the Shiners full page ad with the Ripper ( + one other bike I think )  ;)

oh yes, thats a sport alright. i think only a short run were made with no platform?

as a 'freestyle' frame, built primarily for ramps, it never needed one. however i guess the market dictated a 'freestyle' frame needed the platform. i can't believe how long manufacturers churned out frames with platforms, as they aren't necessary for any tricks whatsoever that i know of.

oh yeah, does anyone remember the schwinn ad from bmx plus where there's a rider standing next to his bike absolutely caked in mud, with the slogan 'winning is a dirty job', then you turned the page and there was a dbl spread of the whole team standing in the showers with there bikes, fully uniformed, with the slogan 'but someone has to do it.' ?
