Coming Soon - NOS Torker 280X Build
« on: November 22, 2007, 11:46 AM »
I've been mulling over building up this for a while now, I've got everything I need to complete it, so watch this space…..

This F&F was one of my bargain buys from last year, it's totally NOS, never been set up, even the decals are NOS (The Chrome is 10/10 Perfect, although the pics make it look like it has some scratches for some reason !?)

- Question is should NOS Frames be built up or left as they are ?? VIEWS PLEASE ?

Also, what's the Market Rate for a 280X Now ? Prices for some rarer frames are going mad….

Here's some pics  :)

Massive advise mate but once again just My opinion.

Keep it as is and dont build it.

I had a NOS in the box white TA f+f.

I built it up and it sits in my loft room.  :smitten: Refurbed ones are going for £400 on the bay. What would a NOS one in the Skyway box go for?!!!! Massive money - i bet!

You build that lightly and the chances are you will still mark the drop outs and that lovely f+f will no longer be....NOS. Try and prove to a perspective buyer that it is NOS with drop out marks on!

Leave it mate.  ;)

Well, it's got a headset in it, the seat clamp fitted and the stickers look dodgy....

Build it up, but use plastic washers on the wheels...  or sell it to me for 10p :daumenhoch:

No, it says Radbmx in a big box at the top of the page, maybe you should get yourself to Specsavers to get your eyesight sorted out...

Don't ask for other peoples views if you find the truth upsetting, I made a fair comment afterall...

oooooooooooooooooooohhhhh !!!!! so FUNNY !!! you should be on stage !!  :crazy2:

BTW: The decals were original Old Stock, not repro's, they came with the frame, which had no decals, apart from a faded headtube on clear backing ? (which I removed)

So, Where I can get a set of foil backed set I don't know?......, but 'as is' the frame is still NOS as there are no marks despite me fitting a the parts temporarily, but I guess you'll tell me i'm wrong................., but I guess we are entitle to our own opinions eh....
