I decided that for my 40th birthday I would reserve Clairemont skatepark. One of the main reasons for it was because my son has a hard time riding at the park when there are 50 skaters and 20 bmxers going in every direction. It was going to be just me and my son, Voelker and his son, Tony Murray, Lee Reynolds and his daughter, Mike Perenti, Chris Potts and a few other current riders. Well.....it appears that it may turn into an old school get together. Damon Nichols emailed me and said he would like to go and is going to invite Tony Mackenzie and Paul Wright. If all the other people show up this ride will end up being a who's who of 80's skatepark riding.

The event will happen November 24th, I will try to get some pics up by the 25th and video to follow. I'm really stressing about this now.

Sounds cool Andy, should have a good time.

Just make sure you get Damon back on a ramp please, I was asking him if he still rides and he doesn't so we need to get him riding again and back in the air.

Have a fantastic time mate and make sure you get some pics and video footage.

P.S. I just received confirmation, Fiola, Xavier Mendez, and Blyther are coming for sure. Dominguez is probable, I haven't heard if Hugo and Oscar Gonzales can make it for sure. Kevin Lau from Hawaii is coming and bringing a sweeeet new frame and fork.

He's in New Mexico right now filming some stunt work but told Xavier that he is definately in. I don't think I'm going to bum him,LOL, but I am going to have him autograph my trix r 4 kidz t-shirt and my sons Dyno.

Xavier Mendez! Ive been trying to remember his name for the last few weeks. I ran into him in a bike shop in the Uplands area of LA in 1991. I just went into a shop to look at BMX parts and he was working in there. I ended up chatting to him about Domingues.

Kevin Lau, my long time Hawaii riding buddy, told me that he is going to sponsor this ride and pick up the bill. He made up a flyer and sent it out to a few bmx mags.

Thanks Dan, I don't know what is up with photobucket. It told me access denied when I tried to upload the FF pic, but when I tried to upload the FF pic and the flyer it worked.
