« on: November 13, 2007, 09:58 PM »
WELL IM SURE MOST OF YOU will have SEEN ME INTENSE CRUISER

WELL IT WAS A GREAT BIKE AND UPGRADED IT AS I WENT ALONG MUST OF STOOD ME AT £600

ANYWAY ME BOYS KUWWY WAS A TADGE BIG FOR HIM SO I SOLD IT AND GOT HIM A JUNIOR AND ALL IS SWEET

WITH THE CHANGE I BOUGHT A CHEEP HARO SR 24 CRUISER 2008 MODEL AND GOT IT FOR A BIT OF A BARGAIN

ALL I CHANGED WERE THE BARS TO S+M SLAMS ,,AT 1ST IT FELT OK BUT NEVER FELT TO GREAT ON IT

WENT TO LYTHAM LAST SUNDAY FOR THERE 1ST RACE MEETIN AND THAT WAS IT ME N THE HARO GELLED AND I WAS REALLY FLYIN ON IT ,,IN SO MUCH THAT I WAS QUICKER AND THE BIKE JUMPED BETTER THAN THE INTENSE

THIS IS WATS CRAZY ,,,INTENSE = £600

AND THE HARO I GOT CHANGE OUT OF £200

BUT WHY IS THE CHEAP BIKE EASIER AND FEELS BETTER THAN THE DEAR BIKE

ALL A BIT CRAZY IF YA ASK ME

RUSS

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm I have just studied those pics and the Haro sure does look faster!  :daumenhoch:

The slightest difference in a frame can make all the difference to certain riders and some riders can kill it on any bike.
I dont like steep head tubes or high bottom brackets.

After all the bikes you have been through you should have I good idea whats what now!!  :LolLolLolLol:

Looks like the back end is shorter on the Haro? might be that?
I know for me I can tell within a few laps if I like a bike or not hence me selling almost as much stuff on as you Rusty  :LolLolLolLol:

BUT if you do find something that works DONT sell it in the search for something better!!! cos chances are you wont find it and you just took another backwards step

That Haro looks waaay better than a £200 bike, why not upgrade it with lighter/better parts and go and kick arse?

 :) DINGO :)

me and ghostriderx were talking about something along these lines last week,he changed the forks on his cruiser to give it a slacker head angle and it made a huge difference to how it felt/rode,it's sometimes just getting the little things sorted that make the biggest differences.
