My VDC f/f that I got a while back came to $80, so a whole bike would be a bit more, however the favourable exchange rate should help in your favour Phil  :daumenhoch:

I think the US Post Office will be much cheaper than Fed Ex. I shipped a frame, forks and some other parts for around 90 USD recently.

Is this a beach cruiser they are heavy but I'm sure nowhere near 50kilos. I'm sick of Americans that don't want to ship and bang the price up. Just been quoted $240 dollars for a Proline f+f with 2 pairs of bars and crankset.  :wtf: The whole lot sold for £53. Its as bad here as well there was a coffin in Hull I wanted he puts on auction postage price on in the morning. Come the morning no price,  I message him through Ebay no reply! :Aresehole:

yeah, its a beach cruiser.

my 2006 haro sport was 35 lbs, it seemed a heavy bike.

i reckon @ 35 lb = 15.8757 kg.

so.....

that bike and box is over 3 times heavier than a haro sport.....

i find i all a bit much to take in really...lol.

no reply as of yet, but we'll see.

 :LolLolLolLol:

usps defo cheapest carrier currrently.

120 dollars should cover it...value of bike 70 dollars on slip...job done..

only downside is my stuff is taking about 30=35 days to arrive at the minute...

as for the seller not being happy, not really his call...shoudlnt make any difference to him should it? your paying at the end of the day...if he is pulling his face its cos he's dry bumming you on the postage for some extra dosh..

mho of course...

good luck though!

im not bothered about the time wait john, its a nice bike, and one i probably wont see again in a hurry and i dont want to lose it really, but i also dont want to pay 250 quid for somthing that i expected to be 150 at most.....

perhaps im being naive, but it does seem a bit like he's stuffing me a bit, on either the cost, or over estimating the weight.

Is it a Schwinn I have a fake one burgundy and cream, springer spaniel, 1 piece cranks, chrome wheels, whitewalls, bars are Schwinn copies and I want some proper moon bars for it! Where can you get those foam grips they used on racing bikes, come in a set of four? Anyone know

The price he's quoted you is more than likely spot on............ for a 50Kg box shipped by FedEx (fookin expensive if sent by anyone other than USPS).

The problem is that USPS will not ship that box as it's length+girth is more than 108".

Whatever happens, that box surely can't be 50kg (that's nearly 8 stone)  :idiot2:

I reckon if the package is less than 32kg, the cost with FedEx should be the $397.74 as originally stated
