The earliest S&M / POW section ever?
« on: November 09, 2007, 12:25 AM »
In 1990 Steve Emig made a Video called The Ultimate Weekend. It has a small section of the POW guys riding their (then rampless) back yard, and also some other jumps. This might well be the earliest S&M / POW section ever. Look out for Clymer in the wheelchair and Moeller doing the 360s at the end.

hav'nt seen that one before.  my lasting memory of dave clymer was at the backyard jam many years ago. my mate Ade was asked by Stu Dawkins if he could give someone a lift to the track at Bexhill. turned out our passenger was none other than dave clymer. he was a sound fella, he even had a beer in the pick up truck on the way there. little did we know what dave would have in store for everyone that day . (backflip over the chasm.)

Ryan, feel free to post it up on there. Your site rocks!
The 2 clips I put up from dirty deeds are both POW / S&M clips so chuck those up too if you want.

According to 23mag.com, Ultimate Weekend was reviewed in Invert magazine in the August 91 issue...

Thanks again Alex! I put the vid on my site today!

I'm also working on getting my old VHS Feel My Leg Muscles and 44 Something onto my computer, so hopefully we'll be watching those on my site as well...

Alex, two quick questions.

One, is that Josh White in that clip near the end with the white shirt/shin guards/knee pads, etc, blue bike? I remember watching the video back then and thinking that it looked like him, but...

Also, what was Crazy Red (Carlson?) like? Out of all the early S&M guys, you probably hear of him the least(and maybe Pepe Hernandez).

Wild video for sure.
