of us now own a replica of their first bike? And how many of us own their dream bike from BITD?
A long time ago, in a land far away!

always lusted after a haro, so now i got a master, sport and group 1 rs2 to make up for it. and a streetbeat as well, so i got me one of those too.  my first bmx was a super tuff burner (oval frame type) but to be honest, have no real desire to have another one (no offense to the burner fans - got nothing against them. they probably are one of the most iconic uk bmxs).
would love a replica of my pink rickman freestyler, the last ones with the "extra" frame tube (seat post to down tube) but these are rather thin on the ground  it seems, also had a hutch pro racer with some rather nice bits, but not prepared to take out a bank loan to finance a replica of that now!

I have neither unfortunately.

I have 2 first bikes (I know that is weird).  I had a Scorpion like MartyC's when I lived in the US in the early 80's.  I then had a Yamaha BYZ401 when I my family moved back to the UK.  Eventually I would like to build both.

I never had a dream bike bitd.  I raced on really good bikes (JMC, Curtis, GT) so they were all I needed.  If there is one bike that I would like to own it is a Bandito, I loved them.

I made my bike from bitd. A white Skyway TA. All i need though is some blue shim dx's and some blue original label tioga comp 3's! What chance have i got?  :'(

I am at last moving all of my bikes into my new house this weekend. I cant wait, so i will be posting some pics up soon of all of my builds. Ive got a few projects on the go too and they will be started when i get 5 mins.

Now owning my dream bikes, Haro Freestyler Gen 1, Haro Master 84, Skyway Streetbeat, 84 Pro Performer and a survivor Ammaco which is mint. Never thought i'd put Ammaco in the same bracket as the others but its soooo minty. Deffo my fave and always has been the White Haro Master with Gen1 coming very very close second. Master will be complete soon, will post up some piccy's  :daumenhoch:

I too only ever had one and that was a catalog purchased Falcon Pro Theta (I think anyway 1 down from the Omega), but immediately took the decals off, put white z's with red sealed suzues, mx1000's, star bars, square corner DK chrome stem, mushrooms etc.

As for dream bikes of the day I have a few of the ones I desperately wanted 1st Laserlite, DBHLT now got 2, GT Pro, Carrera II, Pro Class, GHP and a few others. As a kid though I didn't dig the VDC's or Hutch bikes that command so much attention now!!

this to become this

Still want a Gen 1, Skyway Ta, SE Quad :smitten:

I've still got a few bits off of my 1st bmx. My first 'proper' frame was the torker freestylist, which I've still got (broken.)
I always wanted the all black 88 sport, working on a black/white one I got a few years ago, also I'm trying to do a black 2006 one to look like the original.
I wanted a grey/white streetbeat and a blue/white pro performer too.
need that lottery win!!

I think I was 11 or 12 when I first got my Kuwi - I was chuffed to bits never stopped riding it ! I remember the day Mum and Dad got it for me it spent the night in my bedroom  :LolLolLolLol:

When I was 13 I wanted a Curtis Pro - so I sold the ET frame and forks for £20  :uglystupid2: Anyway this is the day it went - not a happy bunny  :'(

Hey guys..... here's a NOS USA made Redline MXII I've built up which replicates the one I had when I was 13.... only differences being it had a Gold Redline Brute stem, Red Shimano DX seatpost and the Suntour sealed pedals were red earlier versions with the black spindels.
I've still got my Skyway TA which I stopped riding when I was 19... just powdered the F&F and cleaned her up a bit but she is how she was!

Hope you like!

John
