Signed...
With all the media coverage about kids becoming hooligans and youth crime, you have to pity the fool who thought that taking away one of their outlets was a good idea.

hi peeps, just had a read through of your woodham woes. we here in northampton are also in discussion with northants council re building an international standard bmx ramp park. it has taken nearly 3 years in discussion but there is finally light at the end of the tunnel. we lost radlands a while back now but there are plans for a huge development in becketts park. we have had the funding a while now aswell and with bmx insiders within the council it is looking likely that the park will be built. if anyone shows interest in this message then i will try and secure some details of how and who made it happen and maybe our councils can communicate on how best to move forward. we have even recentley seen the plans for what will be a very big concrete park slap bang in a town centre public park and it looks awesome, well as good as a flat bit of paper can show. its all about gentle persuasion and of course funding from others that the council themselves. like i say let me know if you need any help in identifying factors that make good ground in getting what you want, albeit 3 years or so of organising, kind rgeards tim.
