Who do you use Jesus?
I normally use Powder Coatings on the Tyburn Rd £30 to blast & coat.
Always good to know any options.

doing a candy paint isn't actually that hard,

once you source the paint from a good supplier the process is fairly simple.

if you can put a coat of paint on a frame, you can do a candy job

yep - but the problem is, if your local powdercoaters dont have the paint in stock, then you have to pay for a 5kg drum/box which is £120 - so even tho its dead easy to paint on , you have to find the paint first - its cheaper for me to post stuff up north where they already have all colours of candy paint, than pay for the paint to be stored at my local place - as Im getting 4 different colours done!

so don't go to a powder coaters!

go to a paint supplier (proper car paint) and get it mixed up into a noddy can for a few quid

place I use is defo cheaper, even for candy colours I think.

they call them "special pearlscent" colours and are a 2 coat job, looks like candu when done.

i might get shot here guys but candy is not a colour it is the manufactures name, you can not powder proper candy products as they are only supplied in wet paint, many people rip them off saying that it is candy apple red etc but it aint, the finish of candy paints has metal flex in it to give it the metalic kind of finish. When you put two frames together one in candy colours and any other there is a big difference. Im sure the panel beaters will com out and crucify me  now
