Supergoose opc nut
« on: November 05, 2007, 09:43 AM »
Met a guy at MK yesterday who has an original SuperGoose with a Mongoose crank. He's lost the nut that tightens against the BB on the non drive side (left hand side if you sit on bike and look straight down)
He says he's tried a Halfords replacement but that either it was too small to get over the crank arm or too big I can't remember.
Anyway, anyone got one?

genuine goose BB sets used a 28tpi whereas normal ones had 24tpi. could this be the problem?

I thought that might be the case but he was sure that the nut he tried was too small for the crank.
