Alan we were on the 4th straight so there was no way we could have stopped you getting a romp on, by that time on that bloody long track you, and me, were at a stand still  :-\
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!'

And probably hasn't stopped much since!!  Who ordered the rain??   :Aresehole: Watch the forecasts for the weekend as it will be interesting to know how the track has stood up to so much wet stuff in such a short period.  Humps

I went up there yesterday afternoon just to check that out Humps. iI had been raining almost constant allday. The drainage seems to be working well as there were only a few small puddles as to be expected after a whole days rain.

Getting to the track was a different matter due to the main entracnce road now being dug up and  the earthed & seeded areas around the track were as mucky as hell as well.

Will see how the weather goes over next few days and decided if any riding is going down

How was it for you Lee??  After last nights' rain it ought to have been a tad soggy but if the drains worked it might have been OK.  Update please.  Humps

For future reference please check the messageboard @ www.eastkentbmx.co.uk for info on when sessions are taking place, as we check that more often than Radbmx.

Most of us only live two mins from the track so we can give up to date info on current conditions at the track & whether it's ok to ride.

Thanks

For ease of reference I've started a thread on the East Kent website Forum which will show when the track, weather and site conditions lend themselves to riding.  The local riders will provide the reports to save anyone making a long journey only to find force 9 gales and/or blinding rain.  Trust this helps and if you're not registered onto the Forum then please do so.  Humps

Thought this snippet from the Bay might amuse you old farts.  The Club has been awarded funding from Pfizer Ltd to help with some of the bits and pieces we need to go racing.  Now, for those that don't know, Pfizers main product is for erectile dysfunction and is best known as Viagra.  Should I be getting some of their products for the 'older' riders taking part in our Regional??  And here's a special message from "oldskoolsux" to the OSS riders:   :2gunsfiring_v1: Old School .   ;) Humps
