Well, I have to say thanks to a few people on here, for helping me with the bits for this build. The hubs were actually my race hubs from about 83...The completed bike is amazingly light...from the best I can weigh it, it is 20.2 lbs
Actually, I'm not quite finished, I'm going to get the bars and forks translucent powdered in blue to match the frame...personally I love the welding on alloy Race Inc's... Hope you like...

Lovely looking bike and amazing restoration job. Perhaps show some before and after shots.
And as others have said, leave the forks as is cos chrome forks and bars on painted/anodised frames always looks rad.
Gotta be a contender for bike of the year 2008.

Definitely an early favourite for BIKE OF THE YEAR 07... just beautiful...
I fell in love with Stuntmasters Red Race Inc at MK06.... something about those welds...
(maybe its because I am used to Burner welds that these just do it for me!! lol)

Looks great, reminds me of my mate Kevin Riviere's old one, same colour, spec the lot. Almost a replica of his one.

Thanks for the props guys...it was a fairly intensive project. The guy that normally does my polishing shut up his shop and I didn't trust anyone else to do it as I've seen some beautiful alloy welds completely smoothed over in the past! Didn't want that. So that left the job up to me, and I would have to say, I know why the polisher quit! What a b@tch of a job...but I wanted to make sure I polished it out, so that when the anodising was done it gave a nice shiney finish...My anodiser (here in Australia) is awesome..
I'm actually coming around to leaving the chrome front end...I might leave it for a bit and see if I change my mind.
I'm a little nervous of putting up a before shot, don't wanna get lynched. It was red before and was in very reasonable shape (well actually there were some dings that required some attention...but I wanted blue..so I did it.
I know some purists would shake there head at that but .....whatever..... the end result is pretty decent I thought...

"Botchit & Scarper" not quite sure what that means, but sounds p*$$ funny....bit like Top Gear, don't get half the jokes, but that is the funniest show on TV...just a cracker...
