Well we turned up to Dagenham today to remember a great BMX pioneer, Dave young.
The racing and atmosphere was fantastic with the Old school on double points the turnout was the largest class of the day with 3 gates.
There was a bit of controversy but lets not hear about it in this post please.

Double points?? Since when!!?? Great pics Tony. When will Gary72 get himself a race plate (preferably in Barbie pink) or did he use a paper plate that disintegrated in the wet?? Looks like a cracking day. Well done. Humps

PS: Good to read elsewhere that the injured lad taken away by ambulance is just bruised.

Must agree with mike there tone

can't remember if it was a moto or the semi's but you looked like you had a rocket up your arse when you passed te-harve and won the race by quite a margin

Thanks guys, It was the first race in 6 weeks I actually felt good. I pmsl when I went up the inside of te harve and he shouted who the fooks that!!!

A brilliant day Tony... and a credit to those who organised it and put all the effort in.

Hope the young lad who took a tumble is okay... Get Well Soon Kid..

Was well worth the 600 mile round trip.... 3 1/2 to get there.... 5 1/2 to get home..

If I can possibly make it to the next one... I will...

Being the complete NOVICE (my race CV is very short.. 5 meetings this year and nowt before that), I was chuffed to finish 4th in the 'B' final... and just as chuffed to take 3rd spot in my second MOTO.

Thanks to everyone who made me feel so welcome... great just say to say to some of the character on here... everyone is so friendly.. (Off the track at least!!!

).

Josh's ride in the final was great to watch. Making the move on a much bigger kid to take the win.

If Manny could be arsed (lovely kid, but like my lad, he doesn't care about winning) you'd have a couple of new school Lewellyn brothers there, Nik.

Wouldn't mind but completly lost momentum, twisted my seat side ways and had to take it easy for the rest of the race as kept getting done in the leg by it.

Another cracking days OS racing though!!!!!
