Skyway tuffs

How come when i look at some old bmx magazines, companies are listing Skyway Tuff III's

what are these ?

i know they list those as Tuff III's now but i'm pretty sure i remember BITD that Tuff III's were what the alloy hubbed Tuff II's were known as!
i remember buying my blue Skyways from Surrey BMX as Tuff III's because they had the new alloy hubs

when i bought my street styler (BITD) it came with those skyway 6 spoke jobbies which were advertised as TUFF III's
I think they are known as utility wheels now

So what were the early Tuffs with the metal? (Well they look metal) hubs? They look like the normal alloy hub Tuffs but flatter. There were a blue set on here not long ago, think it stated they were 1979.
