As we're showing our GT builds....................
« on: October 20, 2007, 10:20 PM »
As were showing our GT's I thought I would show you mine that I have half buit up today.  I wanted it rechroming as I was building up the bike I had BITD but I thought I would get it done red because I quite like the look of the red GT's. I've got some new twin pinch flights to put on it but I really want some full wrap ones so I might hang fire on putting them on.

Let me know what you think because I can't make my mind up about the red with the other colours I have  :-\ .

I'm thinking chrome is still the best.

Before:-

After :-

That seems odd, it looks chrome where bits have flaked off ie dropouts etc yet the whole frame should be baked black chrome just as tough as normal chrome n none of my gt's are missing the chrome at the drops ???

Oh aye, have heard some of the tales from when him n fish had big ass road bikes  :uglystupid2:

Hmmm lacquer finished pro-class etc I'll agree with ya on Pete, just fart whilst your ridin n it had gone but the GT finish was very durable from memory as all they did was take a chrome gt pro n pass large quantities of leccy through it to bake the chrome  :daumenhoch:  Shame that no one is willing to do it nowadays.  Anyhoo thanks for sharing it with us nick remember you mentioned having one at MK so wondered where the piccie was  :LolLolLolLol:

More GT cack
