hit the nail on the head...smaller frames with full size parts...cranks sometimes smaller, depending on which 'expert' it is...i have a jmc standard short which i suppose could be described as expert in size, has very thin bladed forks on it..running 1 3/8's and 24" wide bars.

my robinson i sold was apparently an expert...have a look at em in the gallery.

Yeah basically smaller Frames around although the toptube length isn't that much shorter. Regular size parts not Mini. They do vary quite a lot though you can use 20 X 1 3/8 Rims 20 X 1.50 and 20 X 1.75. Get your self some Expert size Bars and 165mm or 170mm Cranks should be fine.

Check the Museum page 3 Curtis my old Chrome Curtis Expert is there. It has CW Expert Size bars, Araya Aero Wheels 20 X 1.75 and 170mm one piece Cranks.

Here is my 1983 GT Expert, built up with Expert components. 1 3/8 wheels, 170mm Alloy cranks, Uni turbo. The frame/fork/bars are GT Expert.

My 10 year old daughter rides it when I take the GT 26 out. She loves riding it.
