I did that on my bike when I was about 14,

my bike was old school style with big bars & sweep so i got some CW style bars of a 16" bike and it worked great. felt like a newschool bike (of theday!)

I was poor as a kid f you didnt guess.

1981 REDLINE MX11 rare black



frame and forks off e bay, all other parts from various sites,everything authentic from eightys used but reconditioned,full respray(was black originally) managed to salvage original decals,ogk wheels,odyssey crank,disc and bigfoot pedals lee chi calipers with mx1000 levers tange bottom bracket and headset,suntour stem.......i love my bikes in black think they turn heads hope you agree mark ....this bike now for sale contact mark at........... markesmall@btinternet.com

Well... ahem,  he does seem to have a consistent "quality" to his builds !
