TRICKSTAR! kinda finished
« on: October 15, 2007, 11:46 AM »
Here's some pictures of my Hutch build, I've been putting this together for a while after swapping it for a performer, with a fellow RAD ster.

But with the sky high Hutch prices my enthusiasm and wallet are feeling a little dis heartened :-X

I know it needs some work, but could do with some advice? Whats it need fella's apart from a grand in Hutch bits :(

Next to my Haro, its looking kinda sad, don't you think?

I dont see anything sad there?

I think it looks good. Much more like a real bitd rider. Im not really that keen on Hutched out "advert bikes" bikes that you would never really see anyone riding.

that's a killer colour scheme there mate, lookin good !!

...you can quite easily spend stupid money on builds, there has to be a compromise somewhere, but your build looks good, and I do love a Trickstar !!

thanks for comments guys, really was expecting a good ol grillin :D Probably cos I've been so inspired by the outstanding Hutch trickstars I've seen on RAD. Felt a tiny bit tempted not to post pics yet.

I would really like a hutch western stem, pedals, forks and seat clamp. But just can't find um at reasonable prices. Seems in the last 6 months or so everything has rocketed in price :-\ The better half would go nuts if I went bidding on a hutch 3 piece crank :D

The chainwheel looks pretty plop to, was thinking of all white, any thoughts? At least Del is gonna sort me out a top set of orange decals.

Might even re-spray it all black 8)
