the streetbeat was the first production bike to have the rear brake fitted under the brake bridge, out of the box.

yet no one does it!

Most of the frames around are '85 frames and they can't take a brake that way around without 'modifying' the holes :daumenhoch:

....apart from the seat guts!
thanks laz  :daumenhoch: i can't  seam to hide the guts  :-\

[/quote]

Take the guts out, flip the big bit upsidedown and piece it back together. Gets a bit fiddly putting the bolt part back through on some seats but looks a lot neater when you get it all in....Can you see what I mean.? And I've ruined the thread with a rogue bike. Sorry!

HaHa, not a chance, its the jewel in the crown... and probably the most expensive bit of the bike!
cant go wrong with a black and white colourway, just need some black and silver decals now... DEL!!!  :LolLolLolLol:

my favorite of the streetbeats too.
I remember the ad for the new 2  tone beats in bmx plus i got while in bournemouth all those years ago.
Loved the grey/white from the min i saw it. id love to get one.
I painted a lenghty up in those colours years ago, took it down harrow and some arsehole chucked his bike ontop of mine with the intention of scratching it, which he did.
I was ready to kill him!! :2gunsfiring_v1:
