What bikes did they use in bmx bandits???

Ive just bought a repco hotfoot and was wondering if it was the same one as in bmx bandits . Im not sure if they used mongoose's cos they look similar, but being oz i would have thought they would be repco maybe. If it is ill id like to build it up same as the film. what do you rekon do you know what they were??? cheers

Malvern Star certainly is an Oz brand, they had a couple of good models kind of like Redlines if I remember rightly
