wont split them ... no paypal ... is ebay the best place for that guy? He'd get much more if he sold it all one thing at a time, and had paypal for easy of payment.

I think he's implying that he now owns JAD/the rights to use the JAD name.  Maybe he bought the company, which would also include all JAD intellectual property rights.

The bike is hoopty, but the JAD test in Ride USA still sticks in my memory.  That dude tried to hop over a bush to a huge drop and his peg clipped a street sign sending OTB.  Gnarly!

the shells were to be used with a suntour coaster by knocking off the pressed on flanges and pressing the entire unit into the Jad shell. very heavy...

The certainly look different.  Would make an interesting OS race bike, just for the heck of it.  Too ugly to collect though.

I think it was Ken Hale who landed on his face on the Ride US JAD test.  Could be wrong but I think that's right.

Spot on, Dave did the test too but it was ken who had the fat lip at the end of it.

Also, the Jad owner was there. He was amazed at what they were doing on his bike. What the hell did he think people did on BMXs? Maybe he should have checked before he started making them??? (most of the Jad stuff was bent at the end of the test)

Don't like that blue bike.  Thought they were weird first time round.  Did they copy the Raleigh Shopper???  Jad frames might be rare but then so is white dog poop  :-\
